Pacific Poker $500 freeroll April 8, 2008

Filed under: Uncategorized — ufoexposed @ 2:25 pm

Pacfic Poker have a good $500 freeroll every day for first time depositors.

Really good bonus for joining as there are probably a huge amount of fish in the freeroll - tight nitty play should see you through to the later levels.

I played it once and donked out in 29th position.  It’s good fun and a good first time deposit bonus.

Free $ at Party March 3, 2008

Filed under: Uncategorized — ufoexposed @ 2:01 pm

Not that I plug poker sites for their freebies, but I have noted free $40 on two occasions at my redundant Party Poker account.

To give some sort of idea of how much you need for the bonus, I’ve spent $1200 quickly there and not reloaded.  As a result I’ve had 2 bonuses totally $40 and did spin one of the bonuses up to $500.

Worth a peek.   Maybe load, spend and then leave alone for months.

Bodog daily freerolls July 16, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized — ufoexposed @ 11:11 am

Bodog run two daily freerolls right now - $500 prize prize pool for both.

The standard of players on Bodog is higher than most sites and the interface in my opinion the best.  It retains your folded cards for viewing later so you may see if you made a good fold or not.  Twice I have folded full houses!

The stats are good, giving % flops seen and % won.

Hand history sucks.  It doesn’t get written to your hard drive so you have to pull it from the interface.

Aside from that Bodog has nice sound affects and good graphics compared to other sites.

Full Tilt $100 freeroll June 28, 2007

Full Tilt run a $100 freeroll several times a day.

It might not seem like much but FT is a fair poker website without as much ‘corruption’ as some of the others.

All the pros play on Full Tilt , worth a look.

Poker Room WSOP freeroll June 6, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized — ufoexposed @ 6:23 pm

For 1 week there is a freeroll for tickets to the WSOP at Poker Room - competitions are 3 times daily.

A great (free) way into the WSOP…but you will have to play two tournaments and win.

$500 free(ish) roll at Bodog May 25, 2007

Bodog are offering $500 freeroll for 30 player points.  They also have a great sign up deal of deposit $100 and get $100 free right now.

My experience on Bodog has been pretty rough however, I’ve deposited $150 and lost it all in cash games.  Great hole cards, poor flops.  Then poor hole cards, woulda been great flops.  Beware.

Pokertime $1000 and $5000 freerolls May 15, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized — ufoexposed @ 7:58 am

Pokertime are running $1000 freerolls daily and a spiffing $5000 freeroll each month (requires 750 player points).

I haven’t tried either but could be useful for sparring practice pre-WSOP online satellites.

Be A Pro Freeroll April 6, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized — ufoexposed @ 3:15 pm

Just about the best freeroll known to man, the Be A Pro Freeroll at Ultimate Bet is just awesome for a free comp.

Qualify in one of the 3 daily freerolls in 1st - 5th place for a ticket to the final on 8th April.  Plenty of chances to make it.

1st prize is what I calculate to be about $80k package to play in all the major tournaments such as WPT and World Series of Poker main event.  An excellent package, every poker players dream.

2nd prize is real juicy too, a $10,000 ticket for the World Series of Poker main event.

3rd - 50th are juicy too - $1000 prizes etc.

The standard of play is quite good, as the prize is excellent and you can’t buy a final ticket.  In the first hour, watch out for crazy gambling.  I choose to sit out first 30 mins sometimes, the blinds aren’t really quick.

To finish the tourney, it’ll take about 6 hours.  Best I’ve made so far is 11th and it took me 4 hours 23 minutes.  I was pretty sick.

This tournament is worth playing because it’s free.  But also it teaches you real good poker skills in tournament (freezeout) situation as the players are of a good standard.

My advice if you reach the end is ride it out till you get AK suited, AA or KK as many others do this to avoid any kind of all in move that could jeopardise their ticket.

Remember, just 1st to 5th required for ticket to the final on 8th April….
